This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs all purchases made on exambookapp.live or through the ExamBook mobile application, operated by SOLESEED LLP. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out below.
Important: ExamBook provides digital educational content and subscription-based services. Please read this policy carefully before making any purchase. All sales are final except as expressly stated below.
1. Subscription Plans
The following subscription plans are available on exambookapp.live and within the ExamBook app:
- Trial Plan — ₹2 (1 Day): Available via the ExamBook mobile app.
- Monthly Plan — ₹279 (30 Days)
- 6-Month Plan — ₹549 (180 Days)
- Yearly Plan — ₹699 (365 Days)
2. Refund Eligibility — 24-Hour Window
Refund requests are considered only if raised within 24 hours of the original purchase. No refunds will be processed for requests submitted after this 24-hour window, under any circumstances.
Within the 24-hour window, a refund may be considered if:
- Payment was successfully deducted but the plan was not activated on your account.
- You were charged twice for the same transaction (duplicate payment).
- A verified technical error on our end prevented access to the service after confirmed payment.
- You have not accessed any content (no videos watched, no tests attempted, no features used) after plan activation.
3. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- The refund request is raised after 24 hours from the time of purchase — no exceptions.
- You have accessed or used the service in any way after plan activation (watched videos, used mind maps, attempted tests, used SmarPrep AI, etc.).
- Change of mind or finding an alternative product after purchase.
- Issues arising from your own device incompatibility, internet connectivity, or hardware limitations.
- The ₹2 Trial Plan — non-refundable under all circumstances due to its nominal value and short duration.
- Partial refunds for unused subscription days are not provided under any plan.
4. Auto-Debit and Subscription Renewal
Subscription charges are non-refundable once auto-debited post-trial. The trial period is provided for evaluation purposes only. Failure to cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the trial period expires will be treated as acceptance of the paid subscription terms, and the applicable subscription amount will be charged automatically.
In accordance with RBI (Reserve Bank of India) guidelines on recurring mandates:
- Any mandate authorised by the user and not cancelled prior to the renewal date is considered valid and final.
- No refunds are issued for post-trial subscription debits where the user failed to cancel within the stipulated 24-hour window before renewal.
- Once a subscription amount is auto-debited after the trial period, it is considered a completed transaction and is non-reversible.
- It is the user's sole responsibility to cancel the mandate before the trial ends if they do not wish to continue with a paid subscription.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund within the eligible 24-hour window:
- Step 1: Email us at support@soleseed.in with subject: "Refund Request — [Your Order ID]"
- Step 2: Include: your full name, registered mobile/email, Order ID or Transaction ID, date & time of purchase, plan purchased, reason for request, and payment screenshot.
- Step 3: Alternatively, WhatsApp us at +91 9103716977 with the same details.
Note: Requests received after 24 hours of purchase will not be processed regardless of the reason cited.
6. Refund Processing
- Eligible refund requests will be acknowledged within 2 business days.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days of approval.
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method — UPI, bank account, card, or Paytm wallet.
- Additional bank processing time of 3–5 business days may apply after our processing.
7. Cancellation Policy
- ExamBook subscription plans are one-time purchases unless a recurring mandate has been explicitly authorised.
- To avoid auto-renewal charges, cancel your mandate at least 24 hours before the trial or renewal date via your UPI app, bank, or by contacting Paytm support.
- Discontinuing use of the service does not constitute cancellation — you must explicitly cancel the mandate if one has been set up.
8. Failed / Pending Transactions
If payment failed but the amount was debited from your account, it is typically auto-reversed by your bank within 5–7 business days. If not reversed within 7 business days, contact us with your bank transaction reference number and we will investigate promptly.
